While serving as a critical first step toward SANE certification, our program expands your expertise to include the recognition and management of intimate partner violence, strangulation, elder abuse, child abuse, and human trafficking.

About Our Organization
TXFNE: The Forensic Center of Excellence is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit with a mission to provide various victim services to communities with needs and meeting patients and victims where they are. TXFNE was originally founded in 2018 in Houston, TX as a community-based forensic nursing program in which the nurses respond out to partnered facilities including hospitals, emergency rooms, and clinics. TXFNE expanded its services to include case management, counseling and Adult Forensic Interviewing. TXFNE also works to fill other gaps in communities across Texas where needs are identified, the program has expanded to North Texas, San Antonio and Corpus Christi. As of April 2026 the organization has serviced over 13,000 patients impacted with various forms of violence. Please visit our website to learn more about our organization.
